Anonymous voting issues

Scott's picture

There have been issues with voting anonymously on the polls. The main symptom is that the page refreshes and says that your vote has been counted, but the votes show no change. Some browsers also lose all formatting for the site when the page refreshes.

Changes have already been made to try and address these issues. Some browsers now appear to be functioning correctly, but not all. If you are trying to vote anonymously on a poll, and you have an issue, please reply to this post. Please post your Operating System and Browser, including the version numbers. As more information comes in, we will continue to try and resolve this issue for all of our visitors.

In the meantime, if you would like to vote, you can still do so by registering for the site and voting while you are logged in. Registration is free and gives you greater access to the features of the site. If you would like to help test your particular system configuration with this issue, registration would also give us a way to communicate with you when there is something to test.

Thank you for your patience while we work on this.

Re: Anonymous voting issues

The issue has been isolated. There is a possible patch available, but it will take some time to check it out.

In the meantime, why not register so you can vote? You'll also have additional options available to you as a registered user as well. And it's FREE!
